BASE23 regards his work "Temporary Traces" as a study to further develop his previous work with the use of UV light. It was important for him to choose a location that is secluded and abandoned in nature, in order to underline the consciously artificial appearance of his work in the real environment. His current series deals with the effect of muted and fluorescent colors in artificial UV light. An artificial, unreal world opens up to him and the viewer, which does not occur in this way in our natural living environment. Through the color simulation of the artificial UV light in his works, which are shown under real lighting conditions, the daylight, he raises the question of reality and fiction.
